"Blessing Basket" Luncheon

Jan Denby of Seeds of Blessing will show us Blessing Baskets, telling how they make great gifts. She will also explain how the baskets support developmentally disabled persons.

Nancy Frable describes herself as an "indoor person married to an outdoor enthusiast." She will talk about her happy childhood on the farm and fears that began even then. Nancy speaks about overcoming fear in "Why Worry and Fret When You Can Have Inner Peace.

$13.00 Ticket- Includes a delicious meal, beverage, program and gratuity. All Ladies are welcome to attend. ***A special door prize drawing for first time Attendees.***

We are offering 6 CPDU's/Contact Hours to teachers, sleep techs, respiratory therapists and dietitians. Everyone is welcome! If you are a professional, needing the continuing education credits or a parent, wanting to learn how to help your children have better overall health, by helping them establish a healthy foundation of proper sleeping, eating and exercising, join us for this exciting event! Learn the stages of sleep and how they affect memory, learning and hormone regulation
Discover how sleep influences behaviors, learning abilities and how sleep disorders relate to ADHD, injuries, lower grades, suicide and drug use

Little Miss and Mister Italian Fest Pageant Sat Sep 11 2010

Little Miss and Mister Italianfest Pageant is open to children in the metro east area who will be 4-years old and not older than 8 on the pageant date, Sept. 11. Five finalists will be selected in each division (5 girls, 5 boys) and each finalist will receive a participation medal. One winner is selected by the judges in each division (1 girl, 1 boy). Winners will receive a trophy, crown, sash and other prizes and will ride in the Italian Fest parade. All pageant participants receive a gift bag.

Registration fee is $30 per participant. The deadline for registration is Sept. 1. Winners cannot be current titleholders for any other pageant system or organization.

Both winners will ride in the Italian Fest Parade on Saturday, Sept. 19, and are also required to participate in at least two other parades during their reign.
